Statistics

Stations: 2 fire stations.

Response Area: Approximately 7 square miles, including a 550 acre lake and a 75 acre lake.

Manpower: 12 career staff – consisting of the Fire Chief, 3 Captains, 7 Firefighters and the Fire Marshal. Approximately 17 Volunteer Firefighters, 25 Reserve Volunteer Firefighters, 8 Water Rescue Task Force Volunteers and 8 Support Services Volunteers.

Shifts: 3 shifts, 3 career Firefighters per shift with 1 float position. Each shift works 24-hours on, 24-hours off for 3 rotations, then off for 4 days.

Vehicles: 2 Rescue Pumpers, 1 Water Rescue truck, 1 Fire/Rescue boat, 2 personal water craft, 1 utility pick–up truck and 1 Chief/Command vehicle.
