Junior Firefighter Program
The Junior Firefighter Program is aimed at providing youths — males and females between 16 and — with a hands–on view of the fire service. Members train with the Lake Saint Louis firefighters, and when they pass all requirements, are allowed to respond to alarms and assist firefighters at actual emergency scenes.
Minimum Requirements to Apply for Membership:
- Minimum 16 years of age required.
- Parent or Guardian's written permission.
All members are required to submit a copy of their school grade reports to the Junior Advisors within 48 hours of receiving the reports. All Junior Firefighters must maintain a passing grade in all subjects in order to remain active members.
Upon reaching their 18th birthday, Junior Firefighters in good standing will automatically become Probationary Volunteer Firefighters.
