Proposition ALS What will be on your ballot this November? Proposition ALS Shall the Board of Directors of the Lake St. Louis Fire Protection District be authorized to levy an additional thirty-one ($0.31) cent tax per one hundred dollars assessed valuation for the General fund, in order to provide families and businesses with enhanced life-saving medical services which meet and adhere to the national standard of care as it pertains to providing Advanced Life Support (ALS) services, to provide funding to sustain emergency operations and retain qualified and experienced Firefighters/Paramedics? If passed, Prop ALS will… Enhance Life-Saving Medical Services: Providing families with Advanced Life Support (ALS) services allowing Firefighters/Paramedics to operate at their full certification level giving them the ability to provide you with the highest level of lifesaving services in the event of an emergency.
